About the project
"The Legacy of the Roman Empire for Modern Day Culture in Europe"
is a project supported by the European Union 'Comenius' funding scheme. The three-year (1999-2002) project involves staff and students from schools in five countries working together to investigate the influence of the Romans on modern day life. This website is intended to provide information about the project and to act as a source of finished materials for download.
About the partner schools
The partner schools are located in France, Greece, Italy, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom. The students involved in the project range from age 11 to age 19. Further information about each school can be found by clicking the flags below.
