About the school
I.E.S. Sancti Petri is in the city of San Fernando in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia, on the south of Spain. San Fernando is only ten kilometres of the capital city of the province, Cadiz. San Fernando has a population of 90.000 people. The school has nearly 1400 students aged 14 - 20, both boys and girls. It takes students of all abilities from its neighbourhood. The school used to be a technical school. After the education reform in the nineties, students may study secondary education, higher education and technical and vocational studies. Work on this Comenius project is being undertaken by students in our second year (aged 14-15) and in our first year of higher education (aged 16-17).
