Words inherited from Latin in the field of Architecture and Techniques

Words in other languages

There are approximately 500 words of Latin origin that exist in all the Romanic languages and in in Romanian as well, and 100 words of the same origin that exist only in Romanian. This is a clear evidence that the theory promoted by some documents that when the Romans left Dacia not only the army and the administration left but also all the Romanised population is false.

Out of the 2,000 words of Latin origin existing in all the Romanic languages, the 500  that appear in all of them make a common lexical fund that permitted the communication between all the citizens of the empire by enabling them to speak about all the essential problems of everyday life. Let us imagine a conversation between two citizens of the Roman Empire from different provinces. One of them is making a presentation of his household to the other.
