The Holconio Quadrivium represents the joining point of the main arteries of Pompeii e.g. "Via dell'Abbondanza" and "Via Stabiana". The name "Holconio Quadrivium" is derived from a statue of Olconio Rufo, illustrious citizen and famous personality, demonstrated by the fact that there is a statue of him in front of his house.
